Updates

Okay so, moved back from Indiana to Ohio ages ago, and now I plan to move to Georgia in August, heh.
Yeah, things are super hectic right now. However, despite being technically homeless I am enjoying a ridiculously awesome summer.
So, first thing's first: I got to see my favorite band, SlipKnoT, in concert. Along with several other awesome bands like KoRn, Avenged Sevenfold, Alice in Chains, Shinedown, Motley Crue and so on. I went to the two day concert Rock on the Range with some friends. It was really a kick ass experience and I will probably want to go next year too, if I can.
Secondly: I just found out this past weekend that I have been accepted to Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Hence, my mention of moving there in August since the Fall quarter starts in early September.
But, that's not all.
I also received a $5,000 four year scholarship!
So yes, big news on my end.
Thirdly, and this is just a happy bonus: My paycheck is about a $100 more than I expected. Which is always a plus, because having extra cash is never a bad thing. Especially right now. Also, going to Cedar Point in July, hopefully, that's cool too!

Now, I feel the need to share all of this because...well, just because. Coming back from Indiana, or hell even while I was still in Indiana, my family and I were going through some really tough times. And who isn't right now? But we've been separated and forced to live in scattered places for the second time in the last four or five years.
However, in light of recent circumstance I'm beginning to becoming an avid believer in the term "it gets worse before it gets better". And these trials in life are the kind that build character. I might not enjoy them now but I know I will grow to appreciate them later. I know that with my finally going off to college it takes a tremendous weight off of my mother's shoulders. And every little bit helps. Hopefully, things will get better for her. If we're lucky it'll happen before I leave so I won't be so worried about her when I'm gone.
But here's to hope and a dash of luck, crossed fingers and whispered prayers. Who knows, maybe someone is listening.
